Mariah and Gabe were married at the Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast, in Middleburg VA on a gorgeous Summer day. This wedding was anything but conventional, and I experienced a few wedding firsts. It was my first wedding that had not one but TWO bands play. But they were not your typical wedding bands. Gabe is a musician and the bands were all friends of his and Mariah's. So the reception had much more of a rock club party feel rather then a reception--it was so fun! The second first was the bride and groom's exit....you'll have to read the whole blog post to see the details!
I love the Briar Patch's cottage where the bride gets ready. So many great places to get detail shots.
Gabe brought his pump organ all the way to the B&B for the ceremony music.
It's from Detroit, just like me!
Calming the pre-wedding jitters.
The beautiful bride.
The ceremony. In all of the photos, Mariah just looked so radiantly happy.
I love this shot taken during the exchange of the rings.
The new Mr and Mrs!
Another first for me--Time Warp from the Rocky Horror Picture show! Fun, fun.
Gaslight Society was the first band to play.
Followed by Prabir and the Substitutes.
This is Mariah's "Just Married" sign....
And this was their exit!
Congratulations Mariah and Gabe! We had a blast at your wedding and wish you many happy years together!
