Apple Picking

We took advantage of the beautiful weather today and went apple picking out in Markham, VA. Unfortunately, the trees were nearly bare, and the fruit that was left was tiny! Driving through the orchard, my daughter remarked, "All the trees are dead!" Not quite dead, but definitely barren! Luckily, they had a market where you could fill up the rest of your bag with apples they had picked, so we'll have enough to make all the treats we were planning!
