T & S: Married! | Alexandria VA Wedding Photographer
T & S were married at the Westin Alexandria. I love the Starwood family of resorts and hotels--they offer something a little different than your run of the mill hotel. So, it was perfect for this wedding, as the couple had lots of unique touches. From the pleasantly loud music playing while the guests were being seated, to the bride walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of Guns N Roses, Sweet Child of Mine. I love it when couples do something out of the box!
Even though it rained, there were so many great images from the day that were taken right inside the hotel. Here are a few of my faves!
This was during the dress being buttoned up--I love the look of happiness and anticipation on the bride's face!
The bride's mom and soon to be mother in law seeing her for the first time.
The cutest little flower girl.
The gorgeous flowers from Petal's Edge.
Relaxing before the ceremony.
The groom!
Loved that the bride was walked down the aisle by both of her parents.
The vows.
The new Mr and Mrs!
Some of the great details from the day.
The groom is part of an acapella group and they did a short set during the reception. It was awesome!
Congratulations to the happy couple! We had a wonderful time at your wedding and wish you many fantastic years together!

Cristina + Marc: Married! | Washington DC Wedding Photographer
This one has been a long time coming! Cristina and Marc's wedding was nothing short of epic. It set a new record in terms of images taken (right around 5k), and sorting through them all was much more labor intensive than I ever imagined! Picking just a few for the blog was a VERY difficult job!
The wedding was just gorgeous in every way. Cristina has great style, which carried over into every detail of her day. We had such a great time photographing the event with so much beauty surrounding us. They truly made our job easy in that respect! Ok, on to the gorgeousness!
Marc got ready with the guys at the Four Seasons in Georgetown. Bill Clinton was at the hotel, mingling in the bar! Sadly, his Secret Service detail would allow no photos!
While Marc was at the hotel, Cristina was getting ready at her parents' house.
Leah McKay did all the fabulous makeup.
I couldn't get enough of these shoes!
Hello, beautiful!
Cristina's adorable nephews--they're twins!
The ceremony was held at the Dahlgren Chapel in Georgetown. presided over by Father Brian Conley, S.J.
Here's Marc seeing Cristina for the first time that day coming down the aisle.
I love all the little looks exchanged between Cristina and Marc in the ceremony pictures. Looking at them totally takes me back to the day of the wedding.
Married! The new Mr. & Mrs!
These next 3 are some of my faves from the whole day.
The reception was held at Washington Golf & Country Club in Arlington.
The first dance.
Father daughter dance.
Cristina's sister, Pilar, gave a very touching and funny toast accompanied by a slide show.
Congratulations Cristina and Marc! We had a great time and wish you many happy years together!
