Bridal Show 9/7

While I am waiting for some memory cards to copy over, I wanted to remind everyone about the Bridal Show on September 7 at the Dulles Expo Center. I am super excited to be offering new totally custom wedding packages, as well as some new products. The first one is a guest book that features photos from your engagement sitting with plenty of room for your guests to leave their well wishes. The second is the new Photobook, which is a stylish and modern book for couples who appreciate great design, but need an album that is affordable. Photos to come!
In addtion to the Lifetime Portraits I offer to all my wedding couples, I will also be offering a free engagement sitting or a $100 Pictage credit to all couples who sign a contract with me for wedding photography! Erin & Dan: Married!

Erin and Dan were married at the Sheraton Reston on a rainy Saturday. Just as we were about to go downstairs for the ceremony, the fire alarm went off! Out went the whole wedding party to the parking lot, while trying to prevent the couple from seeing each other. Turned out that the alarm was a somewhat of a false alarm--there was smoke, but no fire. The couple took it in stride and went on to have an intimate wedding with their friends and family. Here are some favorites.

New Featured Album

I just added a new section on the website called "featured album." I have a lot of people ask to see a sample on line, so this is going to be where I show my latest flush mount/coffee book style albums. The album is of Hannah and Matt's wedding at the lovely Briar Patch B&B in Middleburg. Take a look and tell me what you think!

Beth & Randy: Engaged!

Beth and Randy are such a cute couple--so sweet and both such nice people. We did their engagement pictures on a very, very hot day, but we persevered and got some great shots. Here are some of my favorites. Can't wait till the wedding in October!

Ashlynn & Will

I've been taking photos of Ashlynn since she was a newborn, so it was great to meet her new little brother, Will. I hope I will be able to do the same for him! I love to see my clients change and grow--Ashlynn was so cute with her toddler-speak. And Will is just precious--Just look at those cute little baby feet!

Hannah & Matt: Married!

Just before we went on vacation, I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah and Matt's wedding at the lovely Briar Patch Bed and Breakfast. I had met Hannah awhile back, and had actually photographed the couple's adorable daughter, Grace, for her one year birthday. So, if felt like I was hanging out with old friends for the day! The wedding was really beautiful and elegant while still being relaxed. The bridal party wore flip flops, which I loved! There were so many fabulous photos from the day, I may have gone overboard here, but here are some favorites.

The ceremony was presided over by the bride's grandmother, which really gave a personal touch. The is cutie pie Grace entertaining the guests during the ceremony.
